Dear Customers,
Below are important updates for your information and review.
TLV Airport terminals – Shortage in DRY ICE
We would like to bring to your attention that the cargo terminals Maman and Swissport have advised of a shortage in the availability of dry ice for shipments requiring replenishment or replacement upon arrival in Israel.
As a result, there may be limitations and delays in handling shipments that require the addition or replenishment of dry ice after landing.
To ensure availability and minimize the risk of shortages upon cargo arrival, the terminals have requested that requirements for dry ice be communicated at least one week in advance, including the required quantity of dry ice and the shipment’s expected arrival date.
In light of the above, we recommend considering operational alternatives where possible, such as:
- Adjusting or modifying packaging.
- Advancing or postponing the shipment date with the supplier.
- Routing shipments on midweek flights to avoid potential delays in clearance and handling over weekends.
DSV teams are fully prepared to provide professional and efficient support for dry ice shipments, including advance planning for customs clearance and expedited delivery arrangements.
Should you have any questions or require advance coordination, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
Land Border Crossings – Tisha B’Av
On 23 July 2026, due to Tisha B’Av, the Allenby, Jordan River and Nitzana will be closed in accordance with the authorities’ instructions.
As a result, customs clearance activities, cargo transfers, and shipment handling through these border crossings will not be possible.
The Rabin Border Crossing will remain open and operate under its regular schedule, with no changes to operating hours.
We recommend planning accordingly and taking the necessary measures in advance to minimize potential delays as much as possible.
Our teams at DSV remain at your disposal for any questions or support, and can be reached at: info@il.dsv.com
Kind regards,
DSV Israel
