Distribution Delays due to Congestion
Dear Customers,
Recently, unusual congestion has been observed at seaports and air cargo terminals, affecting the pace of inland distribution for shipments.
Due to workforce shortages (reserve duty) and post-holiday backlogs, significant congestion is being experienced at sea and air terminals, leading to delays in the intake and release of goods. These conditions also impact scheduled timelines for inland distribution.
Inland trucking companies are facing challenges due to the extended wait times for trucks queuing to collect cargo.
We are working continuously and in close cooperation with a wide range of carriers and all relevant authorities to minimize waiting times as much as possible, streamline work processes, and return to full routine at the earliest opportunity.
Attached is a formal notice from MAMAN regarding intake delays at the Maman terminal.
We thank you for your understanding and patience and will continue to provide updates as required.
Best regards,
DSV Israel
