Dear Customers,
September 1st is almost here, and we are launching CW1, DSV’s global system.
Starting from August 28th, the operational system will be shut down for some activities, which will affect cargo handling.
To ensure continuous work as much as possible, we request your preparation and advance handling of shipments a few days before the launch.
Air Export:
From Thursday, August 29th until the end of August 31st – during these days, no new files can be opened.
Operational Instructions: Advance the export cargo release – until the 28th of the month at 14:00.
Sea Export:
From Thursday, August 29th until the end of August 31st – all transmissions to shipping companies and customs will be blocked, and no new files can be opened.
Operational Instructions: Advance the entry of containers to the ports until the 28th of the month at 10:00 in the morning.
Import (Air and Sea):
Starting from Wednesday, August 28th at 14:00, there will be a system shout down until Sunday, September 1st in the morning – during that, no payments to customs will be made.
Cargo that lands or arrives at the ports during those days will be released starting from Sunday, September 1st in the morning.
Operational Instructions: It is recommended to advance the landing of urgent cargo so that we can release it from customs before August 28th at 14:00.
Invoices:
Starting from Wednesday, August 28th after 14:00, DSV will stop issuing invoices from the Unifreight system until Sunday, September 1st – on Sunday, we will resume issuing invoices through the CW1 system.
Operational Instructions: It is recommended to ensure that invoices issued this month (or earlier) are recorded in your system.
EDI Customers – Messages: Transmissions of invoices and other messages will be sent starting from September 1st from the CW1 system.
