Athens currently serves as El Al\u2019s transatlantic hub for flights to and from Israel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Europe<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><strong>CAL <\/strong>operates daily freighter service on the Li\u00e8ge\u2013Tel Aviv route.<\/li>\n<li><strong>EL AL<\/strong> operates a 737 freighter on routes including Frankfurt, Athens, Li\u00e8ge, and Milan.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Far East<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><strong>India \/ Hong Kong<\/strong> \u2013 CAL operates approximately three flights per week from Mumbai, enabling connectivity to major airports across the Far East.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shanghai <\/strong>\u2013 Served by CAL via CGO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Additional\u00a0Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cargo handed over to foreign airlines before the outbreak of the war is being handled on a case\u2011by\u2011case basis. This process involves additional costs and requires customer approval.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Sea\/Air Alternatives<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Two weekly sailings from <strong>Athens <\/strong>and <strong>Thessaloniki<\/strong>, combined with air transport from the U.S. and Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Air transport to <strong>Slovenia<\/strong>, followed by LCL container service to Israel.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DHL Courier<\/strong> &#8211; Sea transport from Cyprus; air transport to Cyprus. DHL has also resumed providing air service to Tel Aviv, and import pickups are operating normally.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FedEx <\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0is operating direct import flights. Dry ice shipments can be handled, but hazardous materials shipments are still not accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Export from Israel<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Challenge\/CAL<\/strong> <strong>have canceled<\/strong> the freighter flight to Cologne, Germany, that was planned to move on<strong> Friday, March 20<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Challenge\/CAL<\/strong> operates a 747 freighter <strong>to LGG<\/strong>, with onward transportation to final destinations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Challenge\/CAL<\/strong> operate a 747 freighter<strong> to JFK<\/strong>, with onward deliveries to final destinations within the United States.<\/li>\n<li><strong>LY<\/strong> operates 737 freighter aircraft; flights for the coming week, until March 24, 2026, are at full capacity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>United<\/strong> &#8211; A cargo flight (Boeing 747) to ORD (with height capacity up to 3 meters) is scheduled for<strong> Thursday, March 19<\/strong>.
