\nOn Saturday 7 October, Hamas, the Palestinian militant group based in the Gaza Strip, launched an unexpected offensive on Israel.
\nAt DSV, we are monitoring the situation closely. As of Sunday 8th October, all DSV employees in Israel are reported safe, and we continue to be fully operational in the country.Operational information<\/strong>As the situation in Israel continues to evolve, we are monitoring the implications for our operations closely. Special awareness should be paid to operations in the entire region, as it is still uncertain how the situation will unfold in the surrounding countries.<\/p>\n

Here are the updates for all transportation mode for today 15, October 2023<\/p>\n

Air Freight<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>
\nTLV Airport<\/u>\u00a0is operating.<\/p>\n

As of today, the only airlines operating to full capacity are Israeli carriers El Al Israel Airlines, Arkia Israeli Airlines. Israir & Challenge Airlines
\nMost of the international airline’s temporary cancelled the flights with some exceptions,\u00a0 we are monitoring the situation and will keep you updated for any change based on the info we will get form the airlines.<\/p>\n

The warehouses\u00a0at the TLV airport are operational and fully staffed, we might face some delays due to lack of staff.<\/p>\n

Ocean Freight<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>All Shipping lines are calling Israeli ports.<\/p>\n

ZIM \u2013 announced that war surcharge is applied \u2013 attached<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Israeli Ocean ports
\n<\/u>All Israeli ports are fully operating. but they are facing delays in offloading\/loading the containers due to lack of staff.
\nSome vessels are calling Haifa port instead of Ashdod.<\/p>\n

There is a special process of handling DGR containers at the ports (clearance on direct clearance process ) in Ashdod & Haifa ports<\/p>\n

External ocean terminals\u00a0are fully operating. but they are facing delays in offloading\/Loading the containers due to lack of staff.<\/p>\n

Domestic transportation\u00a0is fully operating but we are facing lack of drivers which are causing delays in pickups & deliveries.<\/p>\n

Border crossing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cargo operations at Allenby\/King Hussein\/al-Karama Bridge crossing is partly working between 08:00 \u2013 16:30, for the transfer of:
\n1. Cement in bulk.
\n2. Iron waste \/ scrap iron\u2013 import and export
\n3. Sand<\/p>\n

Cargo operations at Jordan River\/Sheikh Hussein Border Crossing: the cargo terminal will be open, subject to availability of workers, between 08:30 to 17:00 for sensitive goods (olives. fresh fruits and vegetables) as well as dangerous goods<\/p>\n
