In a rapidly changing world, people have higher demands to the products and services they purchase while technology provides smarter ways to supply.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Technology evolves rapidly, startups develop groundbreaking solutions and large corporations that are characterized by a more complex corporate structure, are looking for ways to stay innovative and maintain leadership in their field.<\/p>

One popular way to achieve this goal is through an \u201copen innovation\u201d strategy that allows corporations to interface with technology companies and outside startups, thus connecting market demands with the supply of startups and technologies.<\/p>

How does open innovation works? It can be reflected in business collaborations, strategic investments, the deployment of beta sites, equipment, structures and data or the acquisition of technology companies. It starts with a pilot (POC) designed to test the fit between the new technology or product and the corporation, its business units, its systems, its customers, and its mode of operation.<\/p>

As part of its open innovation policy, DSV aims to integrate innovative solutions in its field of activity to create added value services for its customers. That is why we established DSV Start Up, which aims to create a platform for the promotion of Israeli startups that provide solutions in the fields of logistics. The solutions can touch on a variety of areas: virtual reality, cognitive computing, blockchain technology, autonomous vehicles, skimmers, IoT, and more.<\/p>

DSV offers startups to carry out joint work processes and the possibility to use its platforms:<\/p>

  1. A technological lab and integration of technology in the supply chain: a global customer infrastructure for the benefit of POC and a global innovation laboratory that supports the characterization of the startup’s solution for the organization and its customers<\/li>
  2. Accompanying companies during product development in terms of characterization and construction of supply chain architecture for the benefit of customer development.<\/li>
  3. Integrating the companies’ solutions in DSV’s product catalog, in value-added products to improve the supply chain of DSV customers.<\/li><\/ol>

    To strengthen the local ecosystem, DSV has built a network of leading partners in the Israeli market, with whom we establish the technology in the field of logistics.<\/p>
