DSV acquiring Schenker
Dear Customer,
Uniting with Schenker will strengthen our expertise across industry verticals and service offerings
It is with great pleasure that we announce the acquisition of Schenker from Deutsche Bahn, a move that marks a significant milestone in our continued growth strategy.
Combining DSV and Schenker will strengthen our footprint and market position while also adding new competencies and enabling us to provide even stronger service levels.
The acquisition enhances DSV’s scale in key geographies and provides access to new markets, strengthening our position and laying the foundation for sustainable growth.
The combination of our strengths will create a world-leading logistics powerhouse, that will improve our competitiveness across all three divisions: Air & Sea, Road and Solutions. All while we continue to focus on building and retaining lasting relationships with you.
Independent entities
The acquisition is subject to regulatory clearance and approvals. We expect the deal to close in Q2 2025. Until then, DSV and Schenker will continue to operate as direct competitors and fully separate, independent organisations. Consequently, any sharing of commercial information or coordination between the two companies is strictly prohibited. Any violation of these rules may be subject to severe scrutiny and serious fines from applicable regulatory authorities.
