פעילות ימית

בהמשך למזג האוויר הקיצוני הפוקד את אירופה בתקופה האחרונה, הכולל טמפרטורות גבוהות במיוחד וגלי חום חריגים, נרשמת ירידה משמעותית במפלסי המים בנהר הריין – אחד מנתיבי השינוע הפנימיים החשובים והעמוסים ביותר באירופה.

המצב כבר משפיע על פעילות השינוע באזור, וגורם למגבלות תפעוליות בהובלת מטענים באמצעות דוברות, לצד עלייה בעלויות ההובלה היבשתית בחלק מהאזורים.

ההשפעות האפשריות כוללות:

• עיכובים בשרשרת האספקה
• מגבלות קיבולת בהובלה הפנים-אירופית
• עלייה בעלויות ההובלה באזור

אנו ממליצים להביא בחשבון השפעות אפשריות אלו בכל תכנון משלוחים מצפון אירופה,

לעקוב באופן הדוק אחר משלוחים דחופים ולשקול הקדמת הזמנות מול ספקים ככל שניתן, על מנת לצמצם סיכונים לעיכובים בשרשרת האספקה.

Please find below today’s Supply Chain Update.

Ocean Freight
Due to the extreme weather conditions affecting Europe in recent weeks, including exceptionally high temperatures and severe heatwaves, water levels on the Rhine River—one of Europe’s most important and heavily utilized inland transportation routes—have declined significantly.

This situation is already impacting transportation operations across the region, resulting in operational restrictions on barge transportation and increased inland transportation costs in certain areas.

• Potential impacts include:Supply chain delays
• Capacity constraints in intra-European transportation
• Increased transportation costs across the region

We recommend taking these potential impacts into consideration when planning shipments originating from Northern Europe, closely monitoring urgent shipments, and considering placing orders with suppliers earlier whenever possible in order to mitigate the risk of supply chain disruptions.
