Here are updates on Air and Ocean for today 22- Oct – 2023

Airfreight operation

We are happy to inform you that the SILKWAY airline is increasing their freighter flights to Israel, as of this week they will operate 4 flights of  400/747 flights – on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

As of this week, despite the limitations and lack of capacity, we manage to uplift most of the freight into/from Israel . Although accompanied by a challenge with transit time, higher airfreight rates.

There are some challenges for shipping goods with special requirements or countries that have low volumes with Israel.

Ocean operation

Additional shipping lines in addition to ZIM and GRIMALDI will charge a war levy, including OOCL, TURKON, SALAMIS, AKKON, LUCY BORCHARD, COSCO, YML – add a link to the messages from the companies I attached

Inland domestic transportation

We are experiencing delays in delivery times – many drivers and trucks have been recruited, which extends delivery time

For containers containing dangerous goods , kindly inform us  in advance of expected shipments that are supposed to arrive at the ports in order arrange the delivery in advance to pull the containers from the port upon their arrival/clearance
