הצצה לעתיד ה-E-Commerce: סטודנטים מרופין סיירו במסוף DSV E-Commerce

מסוף ה-E-Commerce המתקדם של חברת השילוח DSV באיירפורט סיטי אירח את הסטודנטים של תוכנית ה-MA בלוגיסטיקה ושרשרת האספקה הגלובלית מהמרכז האקדמי רופין. הסיור הציג שילוב מרשים בין קדמת הטכנולוגיה העולמית לבין תרומה חברתית וערכית.

המסוף, שהוקם בהשקעה של מיליוני שקלים, משתרע על פני שטח כולל של כ-5,000 מ״ר וממוקם במיקום אסטרטגי באיירפורט סיטי, סמוך לנתב״ג. המתחם תוכנן במיוחד כדי לעמוד בתפוקות הגבוהות של שוק הסחר המקוון (E-commerce) וערוך לקליטה, מיון וטיפול במאות אלפי משלוחים מדי חודש.

המסוף מבוסס על אוטומציה מתקדמת ומערך של מאות רובוטים המבצעים את תהליכי הקליטה, הקטלוג והמיון של המשלוחים. המסוף מספק פתרון מלא מקצה לקצה תחת קורת גג אחת – החל מקליטת המשלוחים עם הגעתם לארץ, דרך שחרור מהיר באמצעות תחנת מכס פנימית הפועלת במתחם, ועד לפיצולם לחברות ההפצה המקומיות.

לצד החדשנות הטכנולוגית, המסוף מפעיל מודל חברתי ייחודי בשיתוף פעולה עם עמותת שק"ל לשילוב אנשים עם מוגבלויות בקהילה. במסגרת השותפות, המרכז מעסיק עובדים עם צרכים מיוחדים בממשקים המועטים שבהם נדרשת יד אדם בתהליך קליטת המשלוחים.

בסיום הסיור הודה ד"ר דוד בן טולילה, ראש תכנית MA ללוגיסטיקה ושרשרת האספקה הגלובלית במרכז האקדמי רופין, שמשתתפים בה גם מנהלים מחברת DSV. הוא ציין כי סינרגיה מעוררת השראה זו מייצרת הפריה הדדית ייחודית בין האקדמיה לחזית העשייה בשטח, ואמר: "תודה רבה לכם על סיור מדהים, מלמד ומחבר, ועל קבלת הפנים לה זכינו. היה מרגש מאוד לראות כיצד לצד האוטומציה המתקדמת אתם בוחרים להעסיק ולחבק את בעלי הצרכים המיוחדים. מאחלים לכם שתמיד תהיו בקדמת העשייה, החדשנות והתרומה לחברה."

The advanced E-Commerce terminal of the logistics company DSV at Airport City hosted students from the MA program in Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management at Ruppin Academic Center. The tour showcased an impressive combination of cutting-edge global technology and deeply meaningful social impact.

The terminal, built with an investment of millions of shekels, spans a total area of approximately 5,000 square meters and is strategically located in Airport City, near Ben Gurion Airport. The facility was custom-designed to meet the high-volume demands of the E-commerce market, equipped to handle, sort, and process hundreds of thousands of shipments every month.

Powered by advanced automation, the terminal utilizes a fleet of hundreds of robots to manage the receiving, cataloging, and sorting of shipments. It offers a comprehensive, end-to-end solution under one roof—from receiving shipments upon arrival in the country, through rapid clearance via an on-site internal customs facility, to final sorting for local distribution companies.

Alongside its technological innovation, the terminal operates a unique social model in collaboration with the SHEKEL Association, which promotes the integration of people with disabilities into the community. Within this partnership, the center employs individuals with special needs at the few remaining touchpoints where human intervention is required in the receiving process.

At the conclusion of the tour, Dr. David Ben-Tolila, Head of the MA Program in Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management at Ruppin Academic Center—a program that also counts several DSV managers among its students—expressed his gratitude. He noted that this inspiring synergy fosters a unique cross-pollination between academia and the frontlines of industry practice, stating:
